The FIA GT World Cup will once again bring together some of the world's leading GT racing talent when Macao hosts the prestigious event next month, with an 18-car field featuring international stars, proven winners and major manufacturers taking on the challenge of the legendary Guia Circuit.

Featuring competitors from Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania and South America, a record eight GT3 manufacturers are represented on the provisional entry list with the returning Aston Martin joining Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche.

The entry list features a number of FIA GT World Cup winners and internationally renowned GT competitors. Two-time FIA GT World Cup winner Maro Engel returns to Macao alongside 2018 winner Augusto Farfus, while another two-time winner, Raffaele Marciello, has also entered the fray.

They are joined by FIA GT World Cup podium finisher, FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA champion Earl Bamber, Aston Martin’s stalwart Marco Sørensen, Porsche works driver Thomas Preining, BMW ace Kelvin Van der Linde and Ferrari representative Yifei Ye, adding further depth to the field.

Porsche is the best-represented manufacturer on the entry list with four cars, while BMW and Mercedes-AMG field three cars. Aston Martin, Audi and Ferrari each feature two contenders with single entries from Lamborghini- and McLaren-powered teams, underlining the strength and diversity of the competition.

The field also showcases a blend of established international competitors and leading regional specialists. Drivers such as Dorian Boccolacci, Luca Engstler, Joel Eriksson, Adderly Fong, Alessio Picariello and Alessio Rovera bring significant experience from GT and endurance racing programmes around the world, ensuring a highly competitive battle across the entire grid.

The FIA GT World Cup has become one of the highlights of the annual Macau Grand Prix motor sport festival, combining elite GT3 machinery with one of the most demanding street circuits in international racing. The narrow confines, high-speed straights and unforgiving barriers of the Guia Circuit have produced some of the most memorable races in GT competition, rewarding precision, commitment and bravery in equal measure.

With a field packed with factory-backed talent, championship winners and rising stars, the stage is set for another thrilling edition of the FIA GT World Cup, the ninth in total, as the world's best GT drivers prepare to battle for victory on the streets of Macao, while also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the FIA’s GT3 category.

Coverage of the FIA GT World Cup will be streamed live and free of charge via the FIA’s official YouTube channel, while the event is one of four FIA-sanctioned competitions taking place during the 73rd Macau Grand Prix week along with the FIA FR World Cup, the FIA FR World Cup and the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour.

FIA GT Commission President Lutz Leif Linden said: “As GT3 celebrates its 20th anniversary, the FIA GT World Cup remains the category's ultimate showcase with eight manufacturers participating. The Macau Grand Prix occupies a unique place on the global motor sport calendar, combining one of the world's most demanding circuits with a strong presence in a region that is hugely important for premium manufacturers and their iconic GT models. The strength of this year's entry underlines both the success of the GT3 platform and the enduring appeal of competing for FIA World Cup honours on the streets of Macau, an event that year after year attracts a stellar line-up of drivers from the worlds of GT and endurance racing for a truly unique GT3 sprint contest.”
