A Regional Platform for Sim Racing Talent

The MENA Esports Championship is an annual event that brings together sim racers from across the Middle East and North Africa competing on Gran Turismo 7. It showcases the region’s emerging talent in virtual motorsport and supports the continued development of Esports in the MENA region.

With its inaugural edition having taken place in 2021, the Championship is now entering its fifth edition. This year, the final round of the championship, run onsite in Amman, Jordan, will be the first event of its kind to be fully sanctioned by the FIA, under the International Sporting Code and Appendix E (Esports) as approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council in December 2024. Participants from 20 countries will have the opportunity to qualify and 24 finalists will compete in the onsite final.
