The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the global governing body for motor sport and the federation for mobility organisations worldwide, today confirms capacity entry lists for the three FIA World Cups that will headline the 73rd running of one of motor sport’s most iconic events – the Macau Grand Prix.

From 19-22 November some of the world’s top drivers and teams will contest the FIA World Cups for Formula Regional, GT and Formula 4, during a period of remarkable ascendancy for motor sport in the Asia-Pacific region.

The event shines a global spotlight on what is regarded by drivers and fans to be one of the world’s most impressive street circuits, all made possible through the key role performed by volunteers and officials.

A record 68 racers will fly the flags of 34 countries and territories as they showcase their ability behind the wheel. As a measure of the popularity of the Macau Grand Prix, all available entry spaces in the FIA FR World Cup, FIA GT World Cup and FIA F4 World Cup have been filled.

The 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour, which concludes on the streets of Macao during round eight of the season, adds further variety as leading touring car drivers and their teams chase success in the famous Guia Race, part of Macau Grand Prix week since 1972.

On day 16 of FIA Volunteers and Officials Month, representatives of FIA Member Club Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC) and the Macau Grand Prix Organising Committee gathered in Macao to reveal the names of the drivers and teams taking part in the Pirelli-supplied FIA FR World Cup, FIA GT World Cup and FIA F4 World Cup in addition to the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour season finale.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “The Macau Grand Prix is a legendary event in global motor sport and the FIA is proud to once again be involved in four unique competitions that showcase some of the most promising young talent in our sport.

“The increase in grid sizes highlights the progress we are making to empower racing talent worldwide, and my sincere thanks to the AAMC, Macau Special Administrative Region Government, and the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee for their commitment to delivering an exceptional celebration of motor sport for fans.”

FIA Single-Seater Commission President Emanuele Pirro said: “We’re delighted to count on a capacity 26-car entry for the third FIA FR World Cup. But this entry list is not just about quantity, it’s also about quality and it’s certainly an entry list full of drivers with big potential for the future based on their career results so far. This is a great opportunity for these drivers to demonstrate their talent in a highly competitive environment and on such a prestigious occasion. I’m also expecting big things from the Gen2 Formula Regional car with its push-to-pass Race Mode system, that are new for this year and will bring more excitement to the event.

“The switch to a multi-team entry model for the second FIA F4 World Cup has already paid dividends with internationally renowned teams from 10 countries taking part. The entry list, which expands from 20 to 24 cars for this year, contains plenty of exciting talent for years to come, drivers for whom this will be their first taste of the Guia Circuit. When we created the FIA F4 World Cup in partnership with the AAMC and MGPOC, a key aim was for drivers to progress to the FIA FR World Cup, so it’s very significant that four of the top five finishers in the first FIA F4 World Cup last year will be racing in the FIA FR World Cup this year.”

FIA GT Commission President Lutz Leif Linden said: “As GT3 celebrates its 20th anniversary, the FIA GT World Cup remains the category's ultimate showcase with eight manufacturers participating. The Macau Grand Prix occupies a unique place on the global motor sport calendar, combining one of the world's most demanding circuits with a strong presence in a region that is hugely important for premium manufacturers and their iconic GT models. The strength of this year's entry underlines both the success of the GT3 platform and the enduring appeal of competing for FIA World Cup honours on the streets of Macau, an event that year after year attracts a stellar line-up of drivers from the worlds of GT and endurance racing for a truly unique GT3 sprint contest.”

Coverage of the FIA FR, FIA GT and FIA F4 World Cups will be streamed live and free of charge via the FIA’s official YouTube channel.

Notes to editors: The Macau Grand Prix has developed into a globally-recognised celebration of motor sport passion, which unites drivers from different championships around the world to test their skills on the most demanding of circuits.

The event also serves as a proving ground for the rising stars of the sport and a hugely important occasion in the Asia-Pacific sporting calendar, inspiring the future generations of drivers and fans.

Taking place for the 73rd time this November, the Macau Grand Prix is another highlight of the long-standing alliance between the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the global governing body for motor sport and the federation for mobility organisations worldwide, and FIA Member Club Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC).

Growing in strength each year, the partnership includes the FIA Extraordinary General Assembly and Annual Conference, held at the Galaxy International Convention Centre in June 2026 for the second year running.

Welcoming more than 450 senior FIA delegates across mobility and motor sport from 149 countries, the event addressed key initiatives in road safety, sustainable mobility, regional sporting growth and transport innovation.

Other initiatives include growing participation in grassroots motor sport through the Karting Academy for students aged six and over, and karting slalom, while also developing motor sport events and competitions being organised and administered by the AAMC.
