Dear colleagues

The following is a description of the procedure international media must follow in order to get a Chinese media visa (Type J). 

 for the Visa Information List.  Please complete the form fully; do not leave any gaps in the information and it must match your passport details.  The nominated embassy is the nearest embassy to you where you want to go to collect your visa.  

Once completed, please send the list and a photocopy of your passport page containing your personal details to:

No submission after 1 August 2016 will be accepted, and it is strongly recommended to make visa arrangements as soon as possible.

The procedure for picking up your visa is as follows:  

You will receive an email from the Rally Media Office informing you that the confirmation of your visa has been sent to the embassy/consulate nominated by China General Administration of Sport. You, personally, will not receive the invitation letter.

Please go to the nominated embassy/consulate with your passport to collect your visa. Some embassies/consulates may also require a completed visa application form, therefore you should check with them in advance as this procedure can vary in different countries.
