The project applies the iRAP/EuroRAP methodology to 60 km of the SS87 “Sannitica” in Molise, Italy, assessing the intrinsic safety of the road for all users and identifying cost‑effective countermeasures. Through detailed inspections, Star Ratings, and Safer Roads Investment Plans, the initiative provides evidence‑based solutions to reduce deaths and serious injuries, supporting national and EU road‑safety targets and empowering authorities with actionable investment strategies.
