Safe School Zones 360: From Data to Action for Safer School Zones [AAT, Tanzania]
08.03.26

Safe School Zone 360 is a structured audit and digital monitoring system designed to measure progress following school road safety interventions. Building on our previous infrastructure upgrades and training, the project introduces a standardised safety index and a web-based portal to track risks and identify areas requiring further improvement. Schools submit regular updates, enabling targeted support and continuous evaluation. The system can expand nationally, creating a consistent data flow, strengthening accountability, and supporting safer school journeys through evidence-based action.
