ICA decision-2025-04 – Hearing 29 10 25 – Nasser Racing Team - 2025 World Baja Cup and European Baja Cup

The following hearing of the International Court of Appeal took place on 29 October 2025 in Paris:

Case ICA-2025-04: Appeal lodged on behalf of Nasser Racing Team against Decision No. 6 dated 27 July 2025 of the Stewards of the Baja España Aragon, counting towards the 2025 FIA World Baja Cup and the 2025 FIA European Baja Cup.

On 27 July 2025, during the Baja España Aragón, counting towards both the 2025 FIA World Baja Cup and the 2025 FIA European Baja Cup, car No. 206 of Toyota Gazoo Racing was reported by the Technical Delegate for a breach of Article 285-11.5 of Appendix J to the International Sporting Code, concerning rear wheel travel.

Measurements taken during post-event scrutineering showed that the rear wheel travel exceeded the regulatory limit of 350 mm.

Following a hearing with the Competitor’s representatives, the Stewards issued Decision No. 6, finding the car in breach of the applicable Technical Regulations and imposing a suspended Disqualification from the competition.

On 31 July 2025, Nasser Racing Team lodged an appeal against the Stewards’ Decision before the ICA.

Decision of the International Court of Appeal

The Court, after having heard the parties and examined their submissions, decided to declare the appeal inadmissible.

The International Court of Appeal was presided over by Mr Thierry Julliard (Switzerland), and included, Mr Filippo Marchino (USA/Italy), Mr Gérard Martin (Belgium) and Mr Robert Pergl (Czech Republic).
